ShareChat was swarming with users posting about Durga Puja in Bengali from October 4th to October 8th, 2019. ShareChat users used hashtags #Sherapara (#সেরাপাড়া), #AmarPujo (#আমারপুজো)while creating festive content, and share their Durga Puja celebrations with friends, family and communities, in their own unique way on the platform.
Under the campaign ShareChat ran a UGC contest and shared rewards and gifts with users to keep the hype of the festivities going. Using the respective hashtags users competed against each other for the ‘Most creative Pandal’ under the theme Sherpara and ‘Most creative Pujo celebrations’ under the theme Amar Pujo. ShareChat received participation from clubs such as Baghaband Red ribbon club, Sarbojonin Durgotsav Telipukur, Young’s club and Netaji Sangha.
