SocialMob, a music and content delivery application today announced its official launch in the Indian market. Developed by a 20-member team at Padath Infotainment in Kochi, the app aims at connecting like-minded individuals globally who share similar social interests in music, food, entertainment, food and travel. The app acts as one-stop destination for its users to freely share their thoughts, pictures, and content and expand their social circle.
SocialMob currently represents over 500 independent artists from around the world accounting for 5,000 plus hours of music.A� Apart from a free music archive, the app also provides access to an off-beat magazine publishing articles from diverse categories by in-house content writers and bloggers. To enhance user interface on the app, SocialMob also introduces Instant messaging feature to let the users exchange real-time messages.
With the launch, SocialMob becomes Indiaa��s first Artificial Intelligence powered music networking solution. This allows the app to collect metadata like user’s behavioural data, music parameters like the genre, bpm, length, playback history, average playback duration etc. These data are then grouped together to create a training data for machine learning programs. The goal of the AI engine is to deliver perfect recommendations for users which is not just based on click preference but based on their psychology and preference in various genres.
