The coveted Full-Time Doctoral Fellowship has been awarded to Trishala Bhaskar, a research scholar from Gautam Buddha University (GBU), Gautam Budh Nagar. The Indian Council of Social Science Research, a prestigious research institute of India, has chosen Trishala for the year 2021-22.
Trishala is pursuing a Ph.D. in Education at GBU, where she is supervised by Dr. Vinod Kumar Shanwal, Head, Dept of Education and Training. Trishala is researching Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) (MOOC). In the subject of Education, only Trishala is chosen from the university.
The Department of Education and Training, led by Dr. Vinod Kumar Shanwal, who is an expert in Emotional Intelligence, is constantly engaged in various research activities. The department has just completed one major research project funded by the ICSSR. The department also contributed in Social Impact Assessment (SIA) survey for Jewar International Airport, dream project of UP Govt. Some other Ph.D scholars are getting Fellowship from UGC.
Two students from GBU’s Department of Media, Mass Communication, and Media Studies have also been selected for the Fellowship.
