Hop Electric’s upcoming electric ‘Hop OXO’ test mule spotted testing on roads in Jaipur

Electric bikes don’t speed as fast as regular bikes! The e-bike designs are just not great! Petrol bikes are much more powerful than e-bikes!— So many misconceptions and half-baked truths are going around about electric vehicles. Some people say they are not as powerful as their conventional counterparts. Others say that the electric bikes are lightweight and doesn’t seem to maintain balance, but this is absolutely untrue.

The world as we know it is already transforming into an electric future on the back of advanced technologies. And, since most of us from the younger generation are anyway focusing on cost effective and powerful transportation methods, electric vehicles seem to be the perfect solution.

In this context, recently, we went out to gauge the latest advancements in the electric vehicle industry. We had heard about an upcoming product that is being tested on roads in Jaipur and since we saw some post on social media platforms, we could immediately guess that it must be HOP’s upcoming electric bike. So, we decided to head to Jaipur roads to see it ourselves.

While we were scouting the roads, suddenly a camouflaged bike zoomed past us at a speed of over 80/90 Kmph. We followed the bike to get a closure look when we realised that there was no exhaust pipe and fully wrapped with a Hop’s logo all around the bike looked unfinished but stunning sports bike. As the lights turned green, the bike swiftly accelerated without making any sound and pollution. And that’s when we knew it is Hop’s upcoming electric bike. We were super thrilled to see such a fast and silent hi-tech product hitting the Indian roads in future. Electric is definitely going to take over the world with such performance. If a powerful acceleration like this is possible without burning fuel, then we are definitely moving towards a high-tech and pollution free future.

What does a two-wheeler enthusiast require? A comfortable but stylish design, high motor power, good mileage to estimate fuel costs, and adequate speed. If all this is possible in an electric vehicle, why do we need to depend on expensive fuel resources like Petrol? HOP OXO seems like a promising, 21st-century product laced with almost every feature that a quintessential young biker wants. Though I am not sure about the price and range, it won’t be much higher than the conventional bikes in the market. I am pretty much excited for the launch. If you too are an e-bike enthusiast keep an eye on Hop’s upcoming launches.
