DigitalOcean hosted 4th edition of its flagship event a�?TIDEa�� in Bengaluru

DigitalOcean, worlda��s fastest growing cloud platform, hosted the 4th edition of its flagship event TIDE, in association with NASSCOM 10,000 startups at ITC Gardenia Hotel, Bangalore. The day-long conference featured multiple speaker sessions and panel discussions by Industry experts, cloud practitioners and ecosystem leaders, ranging from CTOs, Founders and VCs, giving an opportunity to startups and developers from the community to interact and learn from these experts.

 

The keynote, presented by Bala Girisaballa, President, Techstars India on a�?Making India the World’s Startup Nationa�? spoke about the need to take businesses global. He also highlighted how the vibrant ecosystem of new generation of start-ups and entrepreneurs in India are developing world class products from Tier II markets to address the need to sell not only to India, but beyond.

 

The conference had panelists speaking about a diverse and interesting set of topics ranging from “Technology as the Secret Sauce to scaling businesses”, ” Building an Ecosystem where Startups thrive”, “Choosing the right businesses to fund: The Investor Dilemma” and also a panel for startups from DigitalOceana��s Hatch program to share learnings from their startup journey.

 

The event was attended by notable speakers such as Janakiram MSV (Cloud Industry Thought Leader), Arjun Pratap (CEO, Edge Networks), Ajeya Motaganahalli (Leader, NetApp Excellerator), Amit Singh (Co-Founder & MD, Headstart Network) and Nikhil Kapur (Principal, GREE Ventures).
