HP opens registration for OMEN Esports Gold Quest scholarships with AMD Ryzen for PC Gamers
Supporting the rise of PC gaming culture in India, HP India has opened registrations for the OMEN Gold Quest in collaboration with AMD Ryzen™. The ‘OMEN Gold Quest” is a scholarship program that will provide gamers with the necessary financial aid, OMEN gaming gear, skills, and exposure to help them in their quest to compete on the global stage and become future esports stars.
Highlights
• A scholarship, offering OMEN gaming gear, international esports training and annual financial aid
• 3 individuals will be chosen and enrolled in the scholarship program
• Application period :
• Entries will be received from 31 March till 30 April, 2021.
• The applicants will go through selection through May and June; and the 3 winners will be announced by end of June
• Scholarship period will be 1 July 2021 till 30 June 2022
With esports growing at a rapid rate, HP recognizes the need to support the gamers community with the right set of tools and guidance to truly explore their passion and create a mark in the world of esports. The OMEN Gold Quest scholarship will select three applicants and will offer them an annual esports scholarship to support them to better their game. The scholarship will offer international esports training, OMEN Gaming Gear (includes OMEN by HP Laptop powered by AMD Ryzen), annual financial aid – worth Rs 12 lakh for each individual, given gamers a chance to better their gameplay.
The scholarship will be open to Indian applicants in the 18 – 23 year age group.
The nationwide talent hunt program for selection will roll out on March 31, 2021 with final selections in June 2021. The scholarship period will commence from 1st July 2021 and carry on till 30th June 2022.
Participating gamers get a chance to win the OMEN gaming gear which includes OMEN by HP laptop powered by AMD Ryzen™ guaranteeing powerful performance. The gaming gear also comprises of headset, mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
