Twitter India announces the ‘Gandhi Emoji’ to celebrate Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary

Twitter India celebrates the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi with the announcement of a new ‘Gandhi Emoji‘. Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially launched the emoji of Gandhi Jayanti today on Twitter, marking the start of celebrations in the country. The emoji will be available now until Oct 8, 2018.

The new emoji from Twitter will feature a caricature of Mahatma Gandhi and people in India and across the world can celebrate with the ‘Gandhi Emoji‘ by using the hashtags #GandhiJayanti#MKGandhi#BapuAt150,#MahatmaGandhi#MyGandhigiri#MahatmaAt150#NexusOfGood#गाँधीजयंती, and #ગાંધીજયંતિ.
