ETASHA Society Felicitates Youth and Women on Completion of Job Readiness Placement Programs
ETASHA Society, a leading non-profit organization committed to empowering underprivileged youth and women through skill development and employment training, hosted its Certificate Ceremony on March 28 in Gurugram to celebrate the successful completion of its flagship vocational training programs.
This milestone event marked the achievements of 47 students who were awarded certificates for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to building brighter futures. These programs span approximately two months and 200 hours, using participative and experiential methodologies to prepare participants for dynamic professional environments. The continued support from BT Group enhanced the impact of these efforts, helping to change countless lives.
Specialized Training Programs Offered:
- B SMART Program: Prepares trainees with customer service and selling skills, communication, interpersonal skills, MS Suite, and advanced Excel proficiency, enabling them to pursue careers in retail, hospitality, IT/ITES, and finance sectors.
- Desktop Publishing (DTP) Course: Equips trainees with graphic design and publishing software expertise, opening doors to opportunities in publishing and media.
- Digital Marketing Course: Covers digital marketing fundamentals, including SEO, social media strategies, and content creation, empowering participants to thrive in the digital economy.

The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Harish Yadav, Headmaster of Govt. Girls High School, Lovina Gujral, COO, Candour Communications, and Swati Rautela, Social Impact Professional, BT Group, who encouraged the trainees and distributed certificates. Working alumni also shared their work experiences, motivating the current trainees.
Continuous Support from BT Group
With the invaluable support of BT Group, ETASHA has been able to reach and impact thousands of lives. Since 2019, BT Group has funded “Project Spreading Wings”, an initiative that equips adolescent girls in Haryana with digital literacy and job readiness skills. This initiative has impacted over 25,485 youth and adolescent girls (2020-2023) and is currently benefiting 11,500 youth and adolescent girls, preparing them for employment in various sectors.
Career Opportunities After the Training
ETASHA graduates have secured positions in well-known organizations including Croma, Hamley’s, Zepto, KFC, Costa Coffee, Policy Bazaar, and Reliance, among others demonstrating the impact of ETASHA’s efforts in bridging skills gap and enabling employment opportunities. To date, ETASHA has trained over 20,060 youth and women, successfully placing them in meaningful employment across diverse industries.
The event celebrated the achievements of trainees and marked the start of their journey toward economic independence. Trainees and alumni also connected with potential employers, with parents and stakeholders present to lend their support.
