Toyota Kirloskar Motor Celebrates 2-Lakh Sales Milestone of Innova HyCross in India

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) announced a significant milestone, achieving cumulative sales of 2 lakh units of the Innova HyCross in India. This accomplishment reflects customer confidence in the Toyota brand, particularly in its advanced self-charging hybrid technology, and underscores the rising appeal of the model while reinforcing the company’s commitment to delivering sustainable mobility solutions through a multi-pathway approach.

Since its launch in November 2022, the Innova HyCross has continued to build strong momentum and consistently delivered the comfort and reliability that have made it a household favorite across generations. The model combines Toyota’s globally benchmarked Quality, Durability, and Reliability (QDR) philosophy with advanced technology and a modern design, appealing to a wide range of customers across India.

Built on Toyota’s New Global Architecture (TNGA), the Innova HyCross is powered by a 5th Generation Self-Charging Strong Hybrid Electric System. Equipped with a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder gasoline engine and an e-drive sequential shift, it delivers an impressive power output of 137 kW (186 PS) while offering best-in-segment fuel efficiency. The hybrid system enables the vehicle to operate 60% of the time in electric (EV) mode*, providing a seamless combination of power, efficiency, and environmental consciousness. Additionally, certain select variants of Innova HyCross with 2.0-litre gasoline engine, will deliver a robust output of 129 kW (174 PS) while offering customers diverse choices tailored to their driving needs.

With prices starting from ₹19.53 lakh (ex‑showroom), the Innova HyCross also offers an 8‑year self‑charging hybrid battery warranty on select hybrid variants. Further strengthening its premium proposition, the model has secured a 5‑Star safety rating under the Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (BNCAP), delivering a compelling blend of innovation, efficiency and safety in the premium MPV segment.
