Sanskar Bharti paid a respectful tribute to the Bharat Ratna Award holder and the former Prime Minister of the country, Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his Death Anniversary. On August 16, 2018, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji bid his heartiest goodbye to the country. News of his death trembled every single person. He is among those few leaders from Indian Politics, who was never bound in any of the specific party politics. He always received an ample amount of love and affection from all parties and people.
A portrait of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji has been made by an honorable personality Golwalkar Ji, who is an internationally renowned painter from the Portrait Society of America and by the National President of Sanskar Bharti, Shri Vasudev Kamat, who has been honored with Guruji Award and National Award of Central Lalit Kala Academy, Delhi. The portrait has been designed for the Indian Council of Cultural Relations (ICCR) on the Death Anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee and has unveiled by the president of India, Ramnath Kovind under the chairmanship of the President of Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Mr. Vinay Sahastrabuddhe.
Atal Ji had an extensive attachment to Sanskar Bharti, he was a part of almost every all-India event be it any small or big program. In particular, his presence at the 1994 Varanasi session as an opposition leader of the Lok Sabha and his presence as a Prime Minister in 2000 at Baba Yogendraji’s Amrit Mahotsav in Delhi was remarkable. At the Amrit Mahotsav, he said that “I and Yogendra Ji started the journey of social life together, but Yogendra Ji took the path of art and culture and I got caught by the politics.” Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s invaluable contribution towards the progress of the country will always be remembered and will always stay fresh in every person’s mind.
