CamScanner announced that it enables Students and Educators in Tier 2-3 cities by making the app accessible in 4 regional languages, besides English.
In a bid increase its penetration in the rural areas amid the COVID19 Outbreak, the app is accessible in is key regional languages, including Hindi, Bengali, Tamil and Sanskrit. With the regional languages, new users will be prompted to select their preferred languages, and existing users change their language preferences in Settings. This feature is live on Android and iOS.
With this update, CamScanner has expanded its reach to students and educators in India, who prefer internet-based services in regional languages, thus scanning document through mobile now accessible to all.
Elaborating on the same, Mr. Miller, Marketing Director, CamScanner said, “CamScanner mission has always been to bring the best experience to its users across the country. We have already announced the free access to our premium subscription to the educator and students till June 31, 2020. However, with regional languages, we will further help those students who would prefer to use the app in their native languages.”
