BML Munjal University (BMU), a Hero Group initiative, today announced the online commencement of the classes for the batch of 2020-22 enrolled in the University’s MBA program under its School of Management (SOM). The induction program will start from July 21, 2020 and students will have the opportunity to interact with corporate high achievers like Suresh Tripathi, Vice President (HRM), Tata Steel, Harshvendra Soin, Global Chief People Officer & Marketing Head, Tech Mahindra Ltd., SV Nathan, Chief Talent Officer, Deloitte, Deepak Gupta, CHRO, Karvy Group along with entrepreneurs and renowned academic leaders from India, US, Europe and Singapore. Coupled with this, there will be a host of other activities, simulations and seminars to orient the students towards their 2-year MBA journey. The first module of the course will start from the 27th of July 2020 using contemporary online learning platforms including the very advanced Cisco Immersive TelePresence platform.

Learning, effective assessments, online examinations and grading never stopped at the School despite the covid-19 crisis. BMU has been using standards-based systems and technology platforms (Google Classroom, Zoom, Webex, Google Hangouts/Meets, Skype) to deliver classes which are being scheduled as per their regular timetable. BMU also tied up with Mercer Mettl to conduct online examinations and this proved to be a successful association.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Vishal Talwar, Dean – School of Management at BMU said, “The MBA program, unveiled in 2014, has been well received since its inaugural year. We have already seen 5 batches pass out and placed with renowned corporates across the country. This pandemic has made us change a lot of things and rethink the way we impart education to our students. The decision has been made keeping government guidelines in mind, while ensuring that our students begin the academic year without any delay. It would not have been possible without the support of our students and all other stakeholders and I am certain we have a long way to go in this learning journey”.

Admissions to the School of Management are purely on the basis of merit and aptitude. The core focus at the school is every individual student’s personal transformation. The University brings together outstanding academics, industry professionals, experienced researchers and the latest facilities to deliver a unique hands-on and multi-disciplinary learning experience. The MBA program also offers students the opportunity to study the Global Leadership Module abroad.
